Superintendent Brabrand Addresses Racism

Yesterday afternoon, Superintendent Brabrand sent a message to FCPS staff acknowledging the hurt, anger, and pain we are feeling in response to the brutal police killing of George Floyd, on the heels of other acts of hate and violence against Black people in our country. As Dr. Brabrand said, "Racism and hate have no place in FCPS." He also added, "This cannot be ignored. To our Black and African American students and staff, I want you to know that we see you, we believe in you, and we stand with you." If you have not read Dr. Brabrand's message, please check your FCPS email account.
