  • Please enter through Kiss&Ride entrance and follow staff directions.
  • Please remain in your car.  No parents or students will be allowed to enter the building.
  • You may return textbooks, library books, calculators at the same time.
  • Please see the schedule below for days & times for pick up of items.
  • If you cannot attend at your allotted time frame, you may come during the other hours offered but we have split it alphabetically to cut down lines and wait time.
  • Please write STUDENT last name, first name, team, and student ID largely on a piece of paper to be displayed on your dashboard.
  • If you do not pick up your items they will either be discarded or donated.  We will not be holding items beyond June 4th.

Academic and Career Plan—Parent signature required!

During this period of distance learning, we encourage you to take this time to work with your child to explore college and career options. In middle and high school, your child will work with his or her teachers and school counselor to discover his or her personal strengths and interests, create goals to help achieve success, plan for courses that meet high school graduation requirements, and prepare for life after high school. The development of the Academic and Career Plan (ACP) starts in middle school and is updated regularly throughout high school as each student’s academic, personal, and career goals evolve.

Please have your child log into his or her ACP in Family Connection and, with your child, explore the following information:

  • strengths and career surveys
  • goals
  • resume builder
  • draft course plans for high school

If you have a Blackboard Parent Vue account, you can log into your account and together you and your child can view his or her plan. The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) requires that the student’s parent or guardian review this plan. Once you have reviewed your child’s plan, use this Google form to complete the verification. The completion of this form will serve as your signature. This must be completed by Friday, July 10, 2020. For more information about your child’s ACP, visit the ACP website.  If you have questions, please contact your child’s counselor.
