Distribution of Student Materials: The distribution will be drive-by only due to social distancing requirements. Assignments will be determined based by grade level and classroom teacher.
Family Drop-Off of School Materials: Once on campus we will have tables set up to return the following:
Library Books: Books are to be placed in boxes upon receipt.
Musical Instruments: Instruments only need to be collected from students in grade 5 and students leaving FCPS. Please label with your name. Students continuing in the instrumental music program next year do not need to return instruments.
Patrol Belts: Belts will be placed in a box upon receipt. Please label with your name.
Classroom Items: Some students have book bundles or other items loaned by their teacher. Please label these items with your name so they can be returned to the homeroom teacher.
Laptop/iPad: These should be returned for students not returning to Bailey’s Upper or Glasgow MS
If you are not able to make your time slot, you must contact Ingrid Hernandez (ijhernandez@fcps.edu or 571-287-9298) to request us to hold the items. Items not picked up will be discarded on June 15th
If you have children in multiple grades, please contact Rodney Jackson (rjackson2@fcps.edu or 301-221-2562) and let him know which time slot you will be attending and we will group together your items.

Students who have library books checked out will soon be receiving an email from Destiny, the Bailey’s Upper Library website, to let them know what books are on their account. Please use this as a guide to check at home for any library books to return. Many library books are still at school and will be returned to the library as classrooms are cleaned.

Breakfast and lunch (both meals can be picked up at the same time) will be available from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Bailey's Primary Elementary School which is located at 6111 Knollwood Drive, Falls Church, Virginia. The food distribution is set up outside. Breakfast and Lunch is free for students 18 years old and younger and $2.00 for adults.
Additional FCPS Grab and Go Updates
If you are missing an FCPS Learning Packet from the mail, please know extra packets are available at the Bailey’s Primary Grab and Go site.
FCPS transitioned many of the grab and go meal sites at school locations to curbside service.
View Complete List of Meal Sites and Times: https://www.fcps.edu/news/coronavirus-update-food-resources
Curbside meal pick-up stations are generally located in the bus lanes at the schools or in the kiss and ride area. Look for the canopy tent along with Food and Nutrition Services staff, who will deliver meals directly to vehicles.
Walk-ups are still welcome at all sites. Walkers are asked to use school sidewalks to safely navigate their walk to the pick-up stations.
Breakfast and lunch meals are available together and wherever meals are being distributed.
As a reminder, it is important to follow social distancing guidelines. Be sure to stand a minimum of 6 feet apart from others and practice regular hand washing, including prior to leaving a residence to pick-up meals, upon returning home, and before consuming food.
Meal sites at ACCA and John Calvin Church are continuing on weekends into June.
