A class full of love… Mrs. Sefrin’s Kindergarten Class
Cub Run Families:
We have begun the process of packing up of student items that are currently in the classrooms to prepare for pick-up. Only items from a child’s desk/cubby and those that are labeled with their name or can be identified by the teacher will be included. Items such as coats, gloves, lunch boxes and backpacks without names or can’t be identified will be placed in the Lost and Found.
Student Item pick-up will be curbside in front of the school on the following days from 8:30AM – 10:00AM:
Monday, June 8 – Last names A – G only
Tuesday, June 9 – Last names H – P only
Wednesday, June 10 – Last names Q – Z only
Parents will not have to get out of the car and students do not need to come to school. All staff supporting the item pick-up will be wearing gloves and masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
If you do not wish to come to school to pick up anything, items that belong to your child will be discarded or donated.
If your child has library books, take home reading books, or patrol belt, you are welcome to return those items at pick-up. Sixth grade students should also return their instruments at this time. Student laptops do not need to be returned at this time.
Our Lost and Found bin(s) will also be available if parents wish to look for items their child is missing.
Thank you and please reach out if you have any questions.

Fairfax County Launching Parent Support Line and Online Parent Café
Fairfax County Government is launching a parent support line and will begin hosting an online Parent Café on Monday evenings, where parents can connect with each other to process through and share different strategies. Some thoughts that might be exchanged:
- What are you doing during this time?
- How are you dealing with this?
- How are you dealing with distance learning while still doing your job?
- How are you dealing with not losing it when your kid asks for snacks for the 600th time?
The Parent Café will be held on the conferencing app Zoom on Monday evenings from 7:30-8:30 p.m.
To participate, you’ll need to register at least 24 hours ahead of time by calling 703-324-7720, or you can send an email to buildingstrongerfamilies@fairfaxcounty.gov.
