We are organizing times most likely on June 8th and June 10th for you to pickup student items and drop off or return the following school items:
- Library Books
- Musical Instruments
- Patrol Belts
- Classroom Items
- Laptops/IPads for students not returning to Bailey’s Upper or Glasgow Middle School
We will be sending more information next week in our Bailey's Upper News You Choose to include assigned time slots by classroom teacher and directions for handling unique situations.
Laptop Distributions at Bailey's Upper have concluded. There will be no more laptop distributions for this school year.
The FCPS Mathematics and Immersion offices have collaborated to create Spanish versions of the elementary math videos that are streamed on Channel 21. These "Math Matters" videos are a core component of the Distance Learning plan to supplement the instructional activities within the weekly learning packets. "Math Matters" videos in Spanish have been posted to the FCPS YouTube site beginning on May 18th and will continue to be posted there until the end of the school year.
If you have any questions, please contact our Bailey's Upper Math Resource Teacher, Heather Barber at HSBarber@fcps.edu.

Additional FCPS Grab and Go Updates
If you are missing an FCPS Learning Packet from the mail, please know extra packets are available at the Bailey’s Primary Grab and Go site.
FCPS transitioned many of the grab and go meal sites at school locations to curbside service.
View Complete List of Meal Sites and Times: https://www.fcps.edu/news/coronavirus-update-food-resources
Curbside meal pick-up stations are generally located in the bus lanes at the schools or in the kiss and ride area. Look for the canopy tent along with Food and Nutrition Services staff, who will deliver meals directly to vehicles.
Walk-ups are still welcome at all sites. Walkers are asked to use school sidewalks to safely navigate their walk to the pick-up stations.
Breakfast and lunch meals are available together and wherever meals are being distributed.
As a reminder, it is important to follow social distancing guidelines. Be sure to stand a minimum of 6 feet apart from others and practice regular hand washing, including prior to leaving a residence to pick-up meals, upon returning home, and before consuming food.
