Student Item Pick-Up
We have started coordinating with our staff to pack up student materials over the next several weeks. With the continued health department restrictions, this process will take a great deal of time. Pack up will not impact direct instruction, but it may impact email response time.
We will also begin coordinating family pick-up of classroom materials the week of May 25, 2020. We will provide more information as the date approaches. If your family is moving and will be leaving the area prior to the end of the school year, please contact Erika Aspuria at elaspuria@fcps.edu and we will coordinate an earlier pick up.
Ravensworth School Wellness Team
The Ravensworth School Wellness Team (School Counselors, Psychologist, and Social Worker) recently held a parent wellness coffee chat. (Parents of Rising 7th Graders that will be attending another FCPS school do not need to respond)
If your child will not be returning to Ravensworth next school year, please email our registrar Teresa Dunbar at tldunbar1@fcps.edu with your intentions. Please include the following information:

If you previously advised the office that your child will not be returning to Ravensworth and your plans have changed, please let us know.
This information is important for staffing based on enrollment and state regulations require that we determine the educational intentions of students leaving.
Student Placements for 2020-2021
While it is still early to be thinking ahead to next year, we want to give you information about class placements for the 2020-2021 school-year ahead of time. The staff at Ravensworth Elementary works hard to place students in an optimal learning situation each year. If you have some information that would help us make those decisions, please send your comments in writing to Mrs. Aspuria by June 1st. Please do not list teacher names. Rather, describe the classroom academic learning environment in which your child learns best.
Kindergarten and Student Registration for School Year 2020-2021
Schools remain closed to families; however, if you have a student to register for next year, please go to https://ravensworthes.fcps.edu/new-student-registration-kindergarten-orientation-2020-21 Early registration for next year is important as it supports the number of teachers for which we are staffed.
