Student Intention Forms 2020-2021
We need your help in projecting our total enrollment for next school year. For families NOT returning to Washington Mill Elementary School in the fall of 2020-21, please complete and return the “Student’s Intention for the Next School Year” form by Monday May 18, 2020.
You have two options to complete this form. Please choose ONE way to send the form!
- Complete the attached Intention Form and email it to our registrar at mrosadosoto@fcps.edu. Please note that an individual form should be completed for each student in your household that attends Washington Mill Elementary School.
OR
- Complete the Intention Form on the FCPS Public website. A typed parent/guardian name on the Parent Signature line is acceptable. Student ID Number may be left blank. Save the completed form, attach it to an email and send to mrosadosoto@fcps.edu.

Necesitamos su ayuda para proyectar nuestra matricula total para el próximo año escolar. Para las familias QUE NO regresan a la Escuela Primaria Washington Mill en el otoño de 2020-21, por favor complete y devuelva el formulario "La intención del estudiante para el próximo año escolar" antes del lunes, 18 de mayo de 2020.

Registration Process Update
Registration is now open for all grade levels for the upcoming 2020 – 2021 school year. With the schools closed, registration will happen virtually, with our registrar, Margarita Rosado, completing a Temporary Enrollment Intake form via e-mail. If you need to register your child for school, please reach out to Ms. Rosado at mrosadosoto@fcps.edu or leave a message at 703-619-2507.
Please note that once schools reopen to the public, parents will need to make an appointment to complete the registration and present all required original forms and documentation (birth certificate, parent id, deed or lease, vaccines record, etc.).

Ya está abierta la inscripción para todos los grados para el próximo año escolar 2020 – 2021. Con las escuelas cerradas, la inscripción se realizará de manera virtual, con nuestra registradora, la señora Margarita Rosado, completando un formulario “Temporary Enrollment Intake” por correo electrónico. Kindergarten Registration
Do you or your neighbors have a child who will be 5 years old by September 30th, 2020? We are beginning to register students for the 2020-2021 school year. 3rd Quarter Progress Reports Update
Teachers have been working on 3rd quarter progress reports for parents. We anticipate the printed report cards will be provided to the postal service by May 23. Actual delivery to homes will be dependent on the postal service.
Internet Access for Families
Cox Connect2Compete supplies broadband internet access to low-income, unconnected families in Fairfax County. Households who meet income and other guidelines will be offered free Internet service through July 15, ($9.95 per month afterward), free modem rental, free installation, and a price guarantee for two years. Schools who are aware of families without internet access can share this resource with families. Even through Distance Learning, students are still participating in Physical Education activities.

During distance learning, our teachers and staff may reach out to our families in a number of ways. This may include email to parents/families, email to student gmail addresses, the News You Choose, eNotify emails or text messages, Blackboard (FCPS 24-7) and telephone calls. Please make sure all of your information is up to date in the school's computer. If you need to update anything, contact your child's teacher with the new information, and they will pass it along to our registrar.
