Irving Middle School is a Grab and Go Location
Irving Middle School continues to be one of the Grab and Go locations. We are serving breakfast and lunch from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. You may pick up both breakfast and lunch at the same time. Meals are free to all students and $2.00 for adults and distributed Monday - Friday.

Library News
Irving Library’s first online book chat was a successful event. Students and the librarians met through Blackboard Collaborate to talk about what they’ve been reading and to recommend titles to one another. Stay tuned for coming announcements about more book talks. We’ve gotten input and ideas from those students who attended and are planning some fun activities for next time. Keep reading!!

 Virtual After School Program
The FCPS Middle School After-School Specialists have put together several virtual after-school activities to engage middle school students in the arts, music, STEM, physical fitness, cooking, games, puzzles, literature, and more! These are activities students can do at home.
Irving students can access these virtual after-school activities by joining the "Irving MS After-School @ Home" Google Classroom. The classroom code is: tpfw4rp
Once your student has joined the classroom, there are a variety of activities (topics) they can choose from in the "Classwork" tab. We hope that students enjoy this site, and that it helps them actively pursue their interests during this time of social distancing. Students are encouraged to fill out the Google Form on the Classroom Stream to indicate which activities interest them and share any activity topics they would like to see added to the site.
