We Love Woodburn Teachers!
A Message from Ms. Katy Richman:
I hope this note finds you and your family healthy and well. I am writing to share some information about my return to Woodburn. Not a day has gone by that I have not thought about the students, families, staff and community. I have greatly missed being part of the day to day interactions and have been eager to return to school.
I am extremely grateful to Dwayne Young, Ramona Gavin, and Bridget Louder for their leadership during my absence. I am humbled by the work they have done to launch Woodburn’s distance learning program and the efforts they have made to support the community and keep us connected during this uncertain time. I am also thankful to the amazing Woodburn teachers who are working tirelessly to maximize learning and to stay connected to our children every day.
Lastly, thank you, Woodburn community, for your patience during my absence. I hope that you continue to stay safe. I plan to return to work this summer and cannot wait to reconnect with the entire school community. I look forward to continuing the work and goals I set forth when I became your principal.
Sincerely,
Katy
