Q & A with Mr. Hood: A question and answer session will be held with Principal Hood on Wednesday, May 13 at 7 pm. Please submit your questions ahead of time to president@jmhsptsa.org. A link to join the session will be sent via Madison’s E-notify one hour before meeting.
Senior Survey: This was emailed to all seniors last week and needs to be completed by every senior. This is the only official means to let Madison know what our students’ plans are for next year which includes getting their final transcript sent to the college of their choice. This also lets us comprise the information on college admissions which is vital for all future students. The survey can also be found in the Student Services 2020 Google Classroom.
Superintendent Survey on Graduation Preference: Today an email was sent out by the county letting all seniors and their parents know that a survey will be out on Tuesday, May 5 to solicit specific information as to what the Class of 2020 is looking for in a graduation ceremony this year. Please be on the lookout for this email.
PTSA Teacher Raffles: The PTSA will be hosting daily Teacher Raffles with gift cards to our local Vienna businesses this week. We will record and post the live drawing (on our PTSA Facebook page and via JMHS Twitter) as names are pulled each day.
Triple I Awards: The PTSA is kicking off our annual JMHS Triple I Awards this week! In 2002, a JMHS parent named Maria Coyle developed a teacher and staff recognition award titled the Triple I Award. “Triple I” stands for Innovate-Instruct-Impact and the awards are designed to acknowledge the teachers that have been exceptional educators in the eye of their peers, their students, and the students’ parents.
