Final Positivity Message

Celebrate the MVPs for Teacher Appreciation Week

Next week, May 4-8th, we have the opportunity to show our teachers just how much we appreciate them.  Our staff is top-notch and have gone above and beyond to adjust to our new normal to support the social-emotional needs of students and provide engaging lessons, while managing the multi-faceted needs of their own families.   This week (and every day) they deserve to be showered with gratitude!  Join me in celebrating the best staff in the land…the MVPs – Mount Vernon High School Teachers!!!

A Message of Gratitude from our PTSA

Dear MOUNT VERNON HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS, STAFF, & ADMIN;

The MOUNT VERNON HIGH SCHOOL PTSA would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the tireless efforts of you and your colleagues. Teaching is sometimes a thankless job, that comes with boundless pressures and challenges, yet you continue well after the school day ends. So far, 2020 has provided us with unprecedented and unplanned events, yet our teachers earnestly and selflessly stepped up .  If COVID 19 has given us anything, it is an overwhelming appreciation that we have for each and every one of you.

It’s often not what you teach in the classrooms, but your personal interactions with our children that matter the most, now more than ever.  Your commitment and dedication to our children have not gone unnoticed, and for that we thank you.

With sincere gratitude,

The MVHS PTSA Board & Members
