Next Food For Neighbors collection is VIRTUAL and going on now
Food For Neighbors (FFN) continued to supply weekend snack packs for students in need while schools have been closed with over 400 packs given out last Friday alone alongside the Irving Grab and Go meals. Instead of a collection on May 2nd, we are asking people to donate online. Please visit the FFN website to take part in this Virtual Red Bag Day.
Intentions for Next Year
If your child will NOT be attending Irving or his/her base high school next year, please complete the Intention Form linked below and return it to hbnguyen@fcps.edu to let us know where your child will be enrolled. If your child is going to Irving or his/her base high school, you don’t need to complete this form. If you find out later you will be moving, please contact Irving so we can update our database.

Irving Middle School is a Grab and Go Location
Irving Middle School continues to be one of the Grab and Go locations. We are serving breakfast and lunch from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. You may pick up both breakfast and lunch at the same time. Meals are free to all students and $2.00 for adults and distributed Monday - Friday.

Library News
Get ready to talk about the books you’ve been reading! On Thursday, May 7th, from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm, both Mrs. Gawalt and Ms. Monk will be hosting an online Book Chat. We want to hear what you’ve been reading. We will have some titles to suggest to you as well. We can’t wait! To join the session:
- Log in to Blackboard 24/7
- Click on “Courses” at the top.
- Find “Irving Library 19-20” as one of your “Courses.”
- Click on the “BB Collab. Ms. Monk” green button over on the left-hand side to join. The session will be available to join @ 2:55.
