Superintendent PTA Session and 3rd Quarter Report Card Distribution

Superintendent PTS Session

Fairfax County Public Schools Superintendent Scott Brabrand joins Fairfax County Council PTA and local PTA presidents to answer questions about distance learning and other ways in which education is changing during the COVID-19 pandemic. This 50-minute discussion covers three topics:

  1. How did we get here? Understanding the rollout of face-to-face learning
  2. What can we expect moving forward?
  3. How will FCPS improve consistency and communication?

Thanks to Dr. Scott Brabrand for joining us. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to stay in touch with their students' teachers and principals, and check www.fcps.edu for daily updates.

Report Cards and Paperless Option

Report cards for this year’s 3rd and 4th quarters will be produced centrally for all secondary schools, except for those parents and/or guardians who have opted to “Go Paperless.” Third quarter will be visible in ParentVUE and StudentVUE on Saturday, May 9 at 6 a.m.. PDF report cards for all secondary students will be generated centrally by FCPS and provided to the postal service around May 23rd.

Parents and/or guardians can take advantage of the paperless option, by logging into ParentVUE, then going to “My Account” and selecting "Go Paperless!" This option must be selected prior to May 12 to prevent the 3rd quarter report card from being mailed.
