Camelot's Weekly Events 4-28-20

Hello Families,

Our teachers and staff are so excited to be back online in teacher directed sessions with students.  It is fun to watch students across the grades interacting with each other and their teachers.  You are probably getting a kick out of it at home as well!

We look forward to seeing many of you at the virtual PTA meeting on Thursday at 7:15pm.

Thank you,

Aileen Flaherty, Principal

Matt Salerno, Assistant Principal

Thursday Fun!--Thursday is "Poem in Your Pocket Day" (as part of National Poetry Month)

Ways to Participate:

It's easy to participate in Poem in Your Pocket Day from a safe distance. Here are some ideas for how you might get involved:

  • Carry a poem around in your pocket.  Surprise someone by pulling it out and reading it.   (Maybe you will share it online with your class on Thursday?)
  • Select a poem and share it on social media using the hashtag #pocketpoem.
  • Record a video of yourself reading a poem, then share it with others.
  • Email a poem to your friends, family, neighbors, or local government leaders.
  • Schedule a video chat and read a poem to your loved ones.
  • Read a poem out loud from your porch, window, backyard or outdoor space.
  • Hang poems on trees, mailboxes, etc. for others to enjoy.
