The spirit day for this Thursday is Decades Day! Dress in an outfit inspired by the decades; for example the '20s, '50s, '70s, '80s, or '90s. Maybe you’ll be inspired by one of your parent’s old photos! Remember that you can tag our Aldrin Facebook page or Twitter to be shared on either page.

This week’s P2 character strength is Connection & Purpose. Having connection or purpose means that you feel strongly that you are here for a reason. It could be any reason--to invent something, to be a teacher, to be a good son or to create beautiful art. |
It is important to take care of yourself. This week’s self care tip is take a meditation or breathing break. Find a quiet space where you can sit or lay down. Make sure you don’t have any electronics or toys to distract you. Close your eyes and count to 10 and then count back down. You can repeat this or find videos that lead you through other exercises. Try to take a short breathing break when you first wake up, before bed, or when you feel yourself getting upset.

Aldrin is holding a Virtual Reading Challenge! The prize is a chance for the entire school to Slime Principal Wolfe! In order to win the challenge, we need to work together across all grade levels, to read 10,000 books by June 12th.
There are two ways you can enter your completed books.
- Any books read on MyOn are automatically tracked! Just log in and read away. No need to keep track of your books here.
- You have a Reading Log link in your teacher or grade level Google classroom. Fill out the form and submit each time you finish a new book.
