Good morning,
Following a meeting with FCPS leadership, elementary schools received new directions to move forward with our Distance Learning. Teachers will be trained this week on creating individualized links to send to students through their FCPS Gmail accounts. The link does not require access to the Blackboard 24-7 portal. Teachers will be sending out directions to students with their individualized link.
Asynchronous learning will continue Wednesday and Thursday (i.e. Choice Boards, learning packets, etc.).
Your child’s teacher will be reaching out to schedule a time to practice logging on to Blackboard Collaborate Ultra on Thursday or Friday.
We will continue to provide you information about this new process as it becomes available.
