Woodson Weekly - April 17th
|
Woodson Weekly is published every Friday to provide the community with important information from Woodson High School.
Vision Statement We are a school community where all students have purpose and value!
Dear Woodson Community:
Thank you for your patience this week. Fairfax County Public Schools is working with the Blackboard vendor to create a fix for online learning. We are hopeful to return to school on Tuesday with synchronous sessions. Our staff thoroughly enjoyed seeing the students online last week and we cannot wait to continue to engage students on a regular basis. Thank you for your commitment to teaching and learning at Woodson High School and I hope your families are safe and well through this crisis.
Next week we should have more details on graduation. We hope to continue the process of ordering materials so we send Class of 2020 off in the best way possible. Stay tuned for details.
Should you have any questions, feel free to contact me at cefloyd@fcps.edu.
Stay safe, stay engaged and stay positive!
Dr. Floyd

1. Go Paperless Report Card Option Now Available
Starting with the 3rd quarter, high school parents will now have the option to “Go Paperless” in ParentVUE and receive only online report cards.
To take advantage of the paperless options, parents/guardians will need to log into ParentVUE, then go to “My Account” and select "Go Paperless!". This process is the only way to keep a paper report card from being generated for students at the secondary level.
All parents who share the same address as the student must have a SIS ParentVue account and must select the paperless option.
