Robinson MS Rising 7th Grade NEWS

Welcome to Robinson!

Please note: This newsletter will be emailed periodically throughout the summer to provide updates regarding programming and relevant information for our rising seventh grade students. Stay tuned!

Welcome from Sub School 7 Principal

Good morning class of 2026! Welcome to Robinson, the home of champions! I am so excited to get to know you over the course of your middle school career. You will see me between classes, during lunch, and visiting your classrooms. Please say hello and let me know how I can make Robinson your favorite place!

A few tidbits about me :). I am a mom of two boys who are going into the 4th and 6th grades and I have a chocolate lab named Shooter. Next year, you will see me carrying my coffee cup and chapstick, my two necessities. If you visit my office next year, you will see that I love all things Harry Potter and The Hunger Games.

Enjoy your summer and get ready for a lot of brain work next year!

All students will be invited to participate and no fee will be charged. Program details and registration information will be shared as plans progress. Summer Teen Program

vip

VIP camp is going virtual this summer!  The After School Specialists at all FCPS middle schools are hosting an exciting virtual summer camp in partnership with Neighborhood and Community Services.  Rising 7th, 8th, and 9th graders in the Lake Braddock, Robinson, South County, West Springfield, and Woodson pyramids are invited to join our camp.

The camp will run from 9 am to 3 pm Mondays through Thursdays from June 29th to July 30th.  Our camp will consist of a mixture of synchronous (live) and asynchronous (self-guided/recorded) activities, and include program offerings in the areas of art, basketball, cooking, debate, drama, fitness, STEAM, trivia, yoga, etc.

There is no cost associated with the camp, but we are requesting that all campers be registered by Friday, June 19th so we can be efficient in our planning and staffing.  Please use the link below to register your child.
