Update on Upcoming Town Halls
As I mentioned in my newsletter earlier this week, I am working with other school board members to bring you updates and give you an opportunity for input on our Fairfax County Public Schools Budget and our COVID-19 responses and distance learning plans. I want to hear about your questions, concerns, and successes around dealing with school closures and online learning.
I am pleased to tell you that Leigh Burden, Assistant Superintendent for Financial Services at FCPS, can join Karen Keys-Gamarra and me on Thursday evening to talk with you. Since she can join us at 8:00 pm, we will start the meeting at 7:30 pm instead of 7:00 pm. I am sorry for any inconvenience this causes you. Hope to see you Thursday with Karen or next Monday evening with Rachna Sizemore Heizer.
