Virtual Parent Coffee
Our Admin team looks forward to our first virtual parent coffee during the week of April 20th.

Cooper students know Mr. Sanchez who worked in Cooper's cafeteria for 29 years. Unfortunately, we could not give Mr. Sanchez the send-off he deserved. Reached by phone, we told Mr. Sanchez how much he was appreciated and wished him congratulations on his retirement. Mr. Sanchez said he was so grateful for his many years at Cooper, and mentioned how much he will miss the students!
Distance Learning Begins Tuesday, April 14
Monday, April 13 is a Teacher Workday
Tuesday, April 14 begins Distance Learning
Wednesday, April 15 begins Synchronous Learning
FCPS shared that the distance learning packets are arriving in mailboxes. You may Opt-Out of printed packet delivery using this LINK.
The April 2nd News You Choose contained detailed information about distance learning. The information is available on the Cooper Website.
 
What To Do Between Now and April 14
Before Distance Learning begins on April 14th, there are a few things students will need:
✓ A computer
✓ Access to the internet
✓ A quiet place to listen and learn
✓ A headset or earphones (helpful if available)
If students need a computer or internet access, please fill out this form.
This is also a good time to familiarize yourself with Blackboard. Students should share Google Classroom with their parents. Teachers will begin to share more about the synchronous learning platform in Blackboard Collaborate.
