Important Updates to FCPS Health Benefits

As noted in an all-staff email from the Office of Benefits Services last Friday, FCPS benefit plans offer a variety of resources to help covered employees and their families who may be affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. New information will be added to Benefits Services' Health Plan Supports for COVID-19 webpage as it becomes available. Please check periodically for updates.

Also, Kaiser Permanente (KP) is temporarily consolidating their services to select centers. This change will allow KP to focus on their most vulnerable members and conserve critical resources. KP members may learn more about these temporary changes and visit KP's COVID-19 website for additional information.

Wellness Webinars Regarding COVID-19 Concerns

Guidance Resources, the FCPS Employee Assistance Program (EAP), has prepared webinars addressing common concerns surrounding COVID-19, such as emotional eating, managing worry and anxiety, and tools to cope with stress. Access webinars from the EAP COVID-19 page on the intranet.

Deadline Extended for Teacher Grant Applications

The deadline to submit applications for the Foundation for FCPS' teacher grant program for the 2020-21 school year has been extended to Friday, May 15.
