Dear Franklin Families,
Good afternoon! Our staff has been thinking about all of you and we miss you! We encourage you to continue to implement safe social distancing practices and we hope that your family and loved ones have stayed healthy during this challenging time.
Following the announcement from Governor Northam yesterday that all schools will be closed for the remainder of the year, we wanted to provide you with an update regarding student technology. Because our school is an FCPSOn participant, we are fortunate that all of our students have been issued laptops. We know that some of those laptops may not be working correctly and we wanted to offer an opportunity to provide some support.
Technology Support:
If your student laptop is not working or if there is a problem with your charger, please complete this form and we will notify you of a time to visit Franklin MS later this week. During this tech support session, there will be sanitizing stations and numerous safety procedures in place to promote social distancing. Students or parents will not be able to access the building or lockers during this time. While students should be accompanied by parents when they attend this session, we ask that parents please remain in their cars.
Essential Items:
Student access to personal lockers is not permitted at this time. However, we know that some of you may have a personal item such as eyeglasses, medication and musical instruments that you may now need at home. If you believe you have an essential personal item at Franklin that you will need in the near future, please complete this form and a Franklin staff member will contact you to arrange a time to pick up these items.
Students should complete these forms using their fcpsschools.net Google accounts.
