Good Afternoon Wolverines--
I wanted to provide a bit more detailed information for this coming Monday March 16th.
Again, the building will be open starting at 8 am to 3 pm to allow for you to pick up anything that you will need for the coming weeks. It will not be a time to hang around the school. You will need to come in, get what you need and leave. All administrators will be available starting at 10 am, if you need to get a confiscated cell phone.
If you need technology help, issues with your laptop or if you need a MiFi for internet access, our technology team will be available in room 131 from 8:00 am to 11:30 am.
You will be receiving more information from FCPS regarding learning opportunities moving forward. Continue to refer to the FCPS website for updates and emails.
I know that students may be reaching out to their teachers asking to do make up work and to come in to school on Monday and work directly with teachers. We are no longer under a closed status for teacher planning meetings, we are now officially closed for COVID-19. These are the efforts taken to limit the spread of the virus. As a result, we will NOT have students or staff in to work or do the business of school on Monday. Students and teachers are only coming in to pick up things that you will need during the close.
Stay tuned for updates regarding work. For now, no new, graded assignments are being expected. If students want to use the time to complete work from earlier in the quarter (make up work), it would all presumably have been assigned and available to them via Google Classroom. Students can access that work and complete it. However, no new-graded-work will be assigned by teachers at this time.
