Band Assessment Postponed
The VBODA events for this weekend in Districts X, XI, and XII will no longer proceed.
After consultation by the District Representatives from Districts XI and XII, all agreed to reschedule the VBODA Assessment for this weekend to a later date and/or different type of event (to be determined). The health and safety of our students, directors, and families is paramount. There is increasing concern coming from parents in our districts, some of whom are not going to allow their children to participate. We also have judges who are no longer willing and/or able to travel to these events. This is not a fair or adequate situation in which to judge our programs on any kind of assessment. We will be in discussions in the future to determine any potential event or activity that will take the place of theses assessments.
We will try to come up with another event or activity to take the place of this one. As soon as we have information, we will let you all know. Thank you for your flexibility.
