Chantilly Honors Choir 2020

On Tuesday, February 25th, some Lees Corner 6th grade students participated in the Chantilly Pyramid Honors Choir Concert. This audition-group consisted of elementary students from around the Chantilly Pyramid. They sang several challenging, upbeat songs, directed by Mr. Evan Ayers, the Choir Director of Chantilly High School.  The concert also featured Chantilly choral ensembles.  It was a great concert!  Our Lees Corner participants did a fabulous job representing our community: Amaya Desnoyers, Madhavan Kandagatla, Tanvi Koya, Keira Newton, Daphne Kupchella, Breanne O’Reilly, Betty Peterson, and Natalie Trask.  Congratulations to these students on a job well done!

School Closing Reminder

no school

Next Tuesday, March 3rd is a school planning day and schools will be closed.

Our school will be a polling place and voting will take place in the gym.

Help Us Help Others

LCES is partnering with Chantilly High School student, Maya Aboul-Hosn, a former LCES student, to collect donations of non-perishable snacks for the Ronald McDonald House Charity. From 2/26 to 3/12, families may donate snack items, such as the examples listed on the attached FLIER, and students can drop them off in the lobby outside of the cafeteria in boxes where the Warm Tree is usually set up.

With your help, we can make a difference in the lives of others.
