Administrative Spotlight

North Springfield Families,

This week is Read Across America Week.  As we celebrate literacy in a fun way with our school community we continue to have our students understand the power of language, the written word and to become life long learners.  Parents please see the schedule at the bottom for each of our days and celebrations.

Please vote for NSES!  Below is information on how to vote for NSES in the 2020 Click for Kids contest.  Any money we are awarded will go directly to funding an outdoor track at NSES.  Vote everyday and find as many people as you can to vote for NSES.  The contest runs until March 11th.

We held our kindergarten orientation day this week.  Thank you to all the families that took time to come and get ready for kindergarten.  If you have a kindergartner that will start school in the fall please begin the registration process.  The more students registered early helps us in the staffing process to keep or hire the best teachers we can.

Congratulations!

Congratulations to Sue Metz. to quote her nominator "She is phenomenal - a true gift to FCPS and the kids at NSES." Sue donates her time for many activities during and after school such as drama club and safety patrols. Ms. Metz is always looking for a way to make school a fun, safe, and inviting place for the students.
