Parent Survey of Students Grades 3-8 About AAP Level IV (full-time) Services
Fairfax County Public Schools has engaged with external researchers to examine our Advanced Academic Programs (AAP) in grades 3-8, with a focus on Level IV services. As one of several data collections in the review, researchers are seeking input from all parents of students in grades 3-8 through an online survey. Individual survey responses will be anonymous, will go directly to the researchers, and will not be viewed by FCPS staff.
Responses will be used by the researchers to craft recommendations for program improvements that will be shared with the FCPS School Board in late March. Parents are asked to complete the survey only one time, even if they have multiple children in grades 3-8. The survey is expected to start being sent directly to parent emails by mid-February and will close on February 28, 2020, in order to give researchers time to analyze results for their final report in March of 2020. There will be a School Board work session on March 24, 2020 with the final report.

Census 2020: Are you ready to be counted?
April l , 2020 is Census Dayl
The U.S. Constitution requires that each decade we take a count - or a census - of America's population. The goal is to count everyone once, only once, and in the right place.
Every household will receive an invitation to the 2020 Census before April 1st. You can respond online, by phone or by email.
Completing your census will directly benefit you! The Census numbers determine how tax funds are distributed to Virginia and Fairfax County to better serve you, your family and your neighborhood on a host of issues including:
Education Healthcare Housing Infrastructure Roads
Census data determines how many delegates Virginia can send to Congress to advocate for our community.
Responses to the census are 100% confidential. Your personal information will not be shared with immigration or law enforcement agencies. The information is only used to count the number of people living here regardless of immigration status.
IN FAIRFAX COUNTY EVERYONE COUNTS!
For more information visit: www.fairfaxcounty.gov/topics/census
or email census2020@fairfaxcounty.gov
