Peyton Morrison, State Champion on the Floor Exercise at the VHSL STATE meet!

A big smile for gymnast Peyton Morrison who had an amazing meet at the VHSL Gymnastics meet this past Saturday. The Sophomore is a STATE CHAMPION in the Floor Exercise! Peyton also finished 4th on the Balance Beam, 6th on the Vault, and 3rd in the All-Around!

Congratulations to the entire team for capping off a tremendous season and becoming District Champions!

Swimmer Peter Makin - State Champion in the 100 yard Backstroke!

The Fairfax High School State swimmers did amazing at the VHSL 6A State meet held at GMU this past Saturday. Senior Peter Makin placed 4^th in the 200 freestyle. The boys 200 freestyle relay team of Peter Makin, Ryan Pascual, Charlie Meade and Jason Figueroa started out the meet in 15^th place and with some incredible swims, ended up winning the B final finishing 9^th.

Finally, to cap off a stellar career at Fairfax HS, Peter Makin is the 6A STATE CHAMPION in the 100 yard backstroke breaking his own school record in prelims with a time of 50.15.
