Community/Faculty Input due Tuesday, February 18, 2020
Fairfax County Public Schools mission is to provide creative, knowledgeable, and talented leadership to ensure student success. To determine the best match for the leadership needs at your school, parent and staff perspectives will be used to screen candidate resumes and develop interview questions. Please provide input detailing the skills, experiences, and leadership characteristics needed at your school. Include challenges and issues that the new principal will need to address. Principal professional skills include instructional leadership, school climate, human resources, organizational management, and communication and community relations. A copy of the input form can be found on the Floris website (Principal Selection Input Form).

Interested in being a panel member? Submit interest form before February 13, 2020
The panel will be held on March 10, 2020. It requires a time commitment from 7:30AM to 4:30PM and will be held at the Gatehouse Administration Center. Parents/Community Members interested in being on the panel should submit their Community Panel Interest Form to the Acting-PTA President, Soumya Mohanty, at soumyamohanty@icloud.com. Staff/ Faculty members interested in being a panel member or nominating a colleague should submit their form to Gail Heidt.
