- To define and identify signs of self-injury
- To better understand emotional needs of children who engage in self-harm

GPS Bracelets/Devices
A parent or guardian who wishes for their child to wear a bracelet or device with GPS capabilities, such as an AngelSense, to school must now request principal approval for the device. Parents or guardians should utilize the new Request for Principal's Approval For Student Use Of GPS Bracelet/Device .
If the device also includes communication features, parents must agree to disable these features during the school day and, if applicable, while on the school bus. A new request needs to be completed before each school year begins.
