 In an effort to make our daily morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up more efficient and safe, we will modify the traffic pattern and procedures effective Monday, February 10, 2020.
Parking for Student Pick-Up and Drop-Off in Front of the School (Door 1) - Unchanged
- If you plan to park and walk your child(ren) to the front of the building, enter the parking lot, take an immediate lefthand turn, and park at the top of the parking lot following the path identified by blue arrows on the attached map.
- For everyone’s safety, all children must be escorted on the sidewalk to and from the front of the building following the blue path indicated on the map.
- Our goal for this new traffic pattern is to alleviate the bottle neck entering the parking lot and allow parents to enter without driving the wrong way into the parking lot.
Kiss N Ride Pick-Up and Drop-Off - New
- Cars will enter the parking lot and turn left down the second row following the path highlighed by the yellow arrows on the attached map.
- Cars will then turn right down the next lane of of the parking lot and finally left to the loading and unloading zone in front of the school. The attached map indicates the traffic pattern with yellow arrows.
- In the morning, parents will pull into the loading and unloading zone and students must be ready to exit the cars. When all cars are stopped in front of the school, students will quickly and safely exit the car.
Reminders:
- Parents may drop students off at school via the Kiss ‘N Ride line off Arrowhead Road after 8:55 AM. Do not allow students to leave your car prior to 8:55 AM
- Pick up will begin at 4:00 PM and students will be called by Kiss ‘N Ride number. If you do not have a Kiss ‘N Ride number, you will be required to park and walk to the front of the building to pick up your child(ren).
- Only students who live outside of our school’s boundaries may acquire a vehicle number for Kiss ‘N Ride.
- The parking lot off Leland Road in front of the main door is only open to buses during arrival and dismissal or when buses are loading and unloading.

For everyone’s safety, obey traffic laws and DO NOT drive the wrong way down the road into the parking lot off Arrowhead Road.
If possible, riding the bus is always the best option!
