SCHOOL NEWS: Monday and Tuesday are teacher workdays - NO SCHOOL
SAVE THE DATE: On Friday, February 21 at 9:15am I will have my first Principal's Coffee of the year. We are going to have a brief presentation on Digital Citizenship, then I will talk about some school initiatives, and will end by taking questions. We will have coffee and snacks in room 169. I will also broadcast through Facebook Live.

GETTING READY FOR BINGO: It’s that time of year, PAJAMA BLIZZARD BINGO!! Please send in your new and in good condition items to be used as prizes for Bingo, we have 30 baskets to fill. Children’s Toys, Movies, Books, Sports Equipment, Kitchenware, Games, Gift Cards, Pet Supplies, you got it, you don’t need it, we will take it! We could also use your services and business sponsorship. You teach music? You tutor? What a great way to get your name out there!

Panera Spirit Event / Fundraiser: 6230 W Rolling Road, West Springfield
Friday, February 7; 4:00-8:00pm, Kick off the weekend with an easy meal from Panera! Whether you want warm soup, a fresh salad, a tasty sandwich or mac and cheese, Panera has something for everyone in the family (and amazing baked goods, too!) Bring the flyer (coming home in Friday Folders on January 31) or show it on your phone when you pay and Rolling Valley will receive 20% of the proceeds!

MOVIE NIGHTS: Join us for a FREE showing of PETS 2 on Friday, January 31st in the school cafeteria. Doors open at 6pm and the movie starts at 6:15pm. Pizza and snacks are available for purchase and the popcorn is FREE!

GLOBAL LANGUAGE CLASSES: The after-school language classes offered at Rolling Valley through the Global Plus - FCPS program are listed below.
Foster a strong foundation in language learning with curricula that address the needs of different skill levels: first-time learners to heritage speakers. For any questions, please contact the PTA's after school language rep at sonjapotter@gmail.com. All class offerings use online registration and are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please be aware that some classes will not run if there are insufficient students. If this is the case, your money will be refunded.
