We are happy to announce that we are now taking registrations for students who will be entering kindergarten in the 2020-2021 school year.
The student must be five years of age on or before September 30, 2020, to register in FCPS this coming year. Parents will need to provide the original birth certificate, a copy of their deed or lease with their name on it as proof of residency, the Virginia School Entrance Health Form completed and signed by a U.S. physician. The physical must be dated within twelve months of starting school.

Parents and rising kindergarten students are invited to join us on Tuesday, March 3, from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM for our Kindergarten Orientation. Your child will participate in classroom activities while parents meet the principal, assistant principal, and our staff members who will discuss our kindergarten program and answer any questions.

Join South Lakes Chorus’ for Broadway Night 2020: Spirit of Disney featuring numbers from some of Disney’s most beloved movies and musicals revivals including songs from Aladdin, The Jungle Book, Moana, Pete the Dragon, The Lion King, Coco, and many more.
The Broadway revue style show features more than 20 Broadway style numbers performed by more than 150 students from South Lakes High School and its pyramid schools including Langston Hughes and Rachel Carson Middle Schools, and Crossfield, Dogwood, Forest Edge, Fox Mill, Hunters Woods, Lake Anne, Terraset and Sunrise Valley Elementary Schools.
