Congratulations to our 68 class representatives who faced many challenging words during our annual spelling bee.
Our winners were: 1st place: Zelmay Jan and 2nd place: Katie Fatianov.
The winning word: factotum. Factotum (noun): an employee who does all kinds of work.
A special thank you to parent organizers Helen Miller and Jackie Grayer.
Thank you for your contributions, but we are still short of our goal. Cooper needs to raise $3000 by January 30. At this point we have a little over $500. Please bring donations this week and consider donating online! Thank you!!!
Please consider an online donation. THANK YOU!!
Event Date: Saturday, February 8, 2020
We can only package the number of meals we purchase, so please donate to help us reach our 100,000 meals goal. Each meal costs only 34 cents to make. For just $5, you can donate nearly 15 meals; $15 will make nearly 50 meals and $50 will make nearly 150 meals. Make your tax-deductible donation today HERE! THANK YOU!!!
Each student is encouraged to donate loose change or money that they earn and wish to donate to Rise Against Hunger. Students will have the opportunity to bring in any money they would like to donate in January 2020. Cooper Middle School parents and families are also encouraged to donate to help us reach our Langley pyramid goal. Our goal will be reached if every child donated $5.00.
Please email LangleySHN@gmail.com if you have any questions.
