Students in grades 3-6 will participate in the Standards of Learning (SOL) Online Assessments from May 5-29. Please review the testing schedule below in order to avoid making appointments that may take students out of school during this time period. Thank you for your support and assistance with our SOL test administration.
The next Spanish Cultural Club will be Wednesday, February 5th from 4:00-5:00pm. We look forward to seeing what our Chantilly Spanish Honor Society Members bring! Registration is free and open to 3rd-6th grade students.

Mark your calendars! The date of Success Night and Science Fair has been changed from Thursday, March 19 to Wednesday, March 25.
The PTA meeting scheduled for March 19 has also been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 25.

Does your child ask a lot of questions about the world around them? Do they love to figure out how things work and move? You must have a Scientist in the family! Greenbriar West's Annual Science Fair/ Success Night will be on Wednesday, March 25 from 5:30-7:30 pm. (***Note-Date change for this event) Students in grades 2-6 will be invited to participate and show off their scientific minds.
If your child is interested in participating, please submit an online registration form no later than Friday, February 28 (each student must register, even if working with a partner). The online registration form is available on the GBW website or just click on the link below. We look forward to a wonderful celebration of science!

Rocky Run MS invites you to their Curriculum Night & Electives Fair, on Thursday, January 30, 2020 (snow date Feb. 6), at 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Special Education and ESOL Sessions will begin earlier, at 5:30 p.m.
Greenbriar West ES parents will begin the evening in the Gymnasium. Please see the flyer sent home with your child in their Thursday folder. More information about courses, and the Course Catalog, can be found on Rocky Run’s website.
Please visit Cafe Rio in Greenbriar Shopping Center on January 23 for lunch, snacks, or dinner! 20% of all sales the entire day will be donated back to GBW PTA - thanks for your support!
Thank you to all who attended our first ever PTA Muffins with Mom and Doughnuts with Dad event. It was extremely well-received and well-attended!
