 The Thomas A. Edison Model UN (TAEMUN) club participated in the Chantilly High School’s MUN conference on January 10 and 11, 2020. Students practiced, debated and had fun during the Chantilly MUN conference. Many awards were presented to our TAEMUNers, including the Secretary-General’s Award for Best Small Delegation.
Our winners included:

• Yasmine Marrero and Anneli Sample (USA in UNEA) - Outstanding
• Zuzu Hassan and Elizabeth Hulett (Russian Federation in UNEA) - Honorable
• Alyna Januarius and Kylie Julian (Switzerland in UNCSTD) - Honorable
• Shashwat Roy (Boris Engalychev in JCC: KGB) - Verbal

Today and tomorrow, our students are attending the Garfield Model UN Conference.
PTSA Meeting | January 28
Our next PTSA meeting is on Tuesday, January 28th at 7:00 pm in the school library. Senior parents and guardians, this is the final opportunity to join the PTSA and qualify for graduating senior scholarships. Remember, you must be a member of Edison PTSA prior to February 1st in order to apply for senior scholarships for the 2019-20 school year.
We will also conduct the drawing for our Membership Drive gifts and prizes. Light appetizers will be served. We hope to see you there!
Edison Birthday Celebration | February 7
It's that time again...time to celebrate Thomas Edison's Birthday! Join us in the cafeteria on Friday, February 7th (every lunch period) as we celebrate with delicious cupcakes and donuts.
