Thank You for Supporting Movie Night
Thank you to all the families that came out and enjoyed a movie with us on Friday. Girl Scout Troop 1149 was able to raise over $350.00 that will be donated to Britepaths, a non-profit dedicated to developing sustainable solutions that stabilize low-income working families, build resilience through financial literacy and workforce development, and provide supports for children. Thank you to the administration, custodial staff, volunteers and viewers. These movie nights wouldn’t be so successful without the support and participation of everyone.
Submitting your photos for the yearbook just got easier! We are excited to announce that this year we are using Shutterfly Share Sites to collect pictures to be considered for our yearbook. To request access to our WSES Yearbook Shutterfly Share Site, visit https://wsesyearbook.shutterfly.com/.
In order to join the site you need to sign up for a Shutterfly account if you don't have one already. Once you have been added to the site, you can add photos to an existing album or create a new one. New albums should have a title that clearly describes the circumstance or activity. We encourage you to provide any relevant photo details including student and teacher names, grade, and event description. For existing photos please feel free to add tags, comments, etc.
Shutterfly also offers a free downloadable Share Sites app for iPhone and Android, which will allow you to share photos to the WSES Yearbook Share Site directly from your phone!
Thank you for contributing to our yearbook! #WillowPride

Chess Club
2020 Spring Semester
Grades 2-6
|
Registration is: Wednesday, January 15th, online-only, beginning at 7 a.m.
Willow Springs PTA sponsors a Chess Club for students in grades 2-6. We employ the US Chess Center to teach the kids how to play chess as well as supervise their play. The students also have opportunities to participate in chess tournaments. The club meets on Wednesdays after school until 5 p.m. The spring semester will start on February 5, and end at the end of May.
The cost for 1 child is $115 per semester. The cost for 2 or more children is $100 per child per semester. You can pay via check or credit card. Please note, credit card payments will incur an additional 4% processing charge. Payment instructions will be given after registration. Money that is not spent by the club remains with the Willow Springs PTA.
Registration will be online starting Wednesday, January 15th at 7 a.m., and it is expected to fill up quickly. Please use the following link to access the registration form at that time: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FWYRXSJ. Please have the following information ready when registering: Teacher's name, emergency phone numbers, emergency contact person and phone number, and child's shirt size.
