Prudence

Dear Marshall Road Families,

We hope everyone has had a nice week back from vacation. Thank you for watching the alerts as the weather will continue to throw us for loops throughout this winter!

Next week our Roadrunners will learn about PRUDENCE in the Positivity Project. When you plan for the future and achieve your goals by making careful everyday choices, you have prudence. Prudence is the ability to do the right thing, at the right time, for the right reason.

“Forethought and prudence are the proper qualities of a leader."  Publius Cornelius Tacitus

The new year is a great time for some MRES reminders:

  • Please strive to have your children arrive at school on time. We have noticed an increase in unexcused tardies. Students miss an important part of their school day when they arrive to their classrooms late.
  • Please do not drop your child off before 9:00 a.m.
  • Safety during arrival and dismissal continues to be a priority and concern. Please follow the below to assure the safety of all our students.
    • Do not park or make U-turns in the Delilah Drive cul-de-sac.
    • Do not park in the side lot to drop off or pick up students and/or walk through the Kiss & Ride line.
    • Do not park in the front lot and walk across the bus lane.
    • All drop-off and pick-up of students must go through the Kiss & Ride line.

Thank you for helping to keep our students safe!
