Important dates

  • January 13 – Distribution of Course Selection Information and Materials via Advisory
  • January 13 - Curriculum Night, Electives Open House, West Potomac Academy Open House – 6pm
  • January 15 – Electives Fair During Advisory (Bell Schedule 1, 7, 5, 3)
  • January 16 and 17 – Academic Days of Emphasis – Teachers take a moment in classes to provide feedback to students regarding 2020-2021 courses
  • January 23 – February 4 - Rising 12th Grade Course Selection Meetings with School Counselors via English Classes.
  • February 5 – February 14 - Rising 11th Grade Course Selection Meetings with School Counselors via PE 10 Classes
  • February 18- February 28 – Rising 10th Grade Course Selection Meetings with School Counselors via PE 9

Happy New Year Wolverines!

I wanted to reach out and remind all families of current 9th-11th graders that Curriculum Night, which includes an Electives Fair Open House and West Potomac Academy Open House, is next Monday evening.  Here is a flyer for the event. The agenda is below.  With course selection beginning later this month, this is an important opportunity to gather information about classes, ask teachers questions, and hear from our Student Services Department about Graduation Requirements.  New this year, we will also be going over how students will be making their course selections on their StudentVue account.  Students are invited to attend with their parents. 

Breakout Session information for the second part of the evening will be sent out later this week.
