 Dear Stone Parents and Guardians,
My name is Mike Parker and I am very proud to have an opportunity to be the interim principal while Mrs. Mitchell is on special assignment. I am humbled to share my experience with the students, staff, and faculty at Stone Middle School. During my career as an educator, I have learned that the most important job is to be a child advocate. I have spent time this week getting to know many of your children during lunch, in the classrooms, and in the hallways. The staff and students have worked hard this week. I witnessed your children preparing for assessments and participating in activities that engaged all learners. Also, teachers and leadership met to discuss and analyze student data to help develop plans to ensure student success in the classroom. I will continue to support the work of all the wonderful things that are happening here at Stone and in the community. I am looking forward to the work we will be doing together should your child need assistance navigating any aspect of the school day.

Calendar Reminder: Winter Break Is December 23 to January 3, 2020
As a reminder, this year winter break starts on December 23 and ends on January 3, 2020. School will be closed during this time. Classes will resume on Monday, January 6, 2020. See the complete 2019-20 school year calendar.
