A Simple Request for Safety
Recently, we have noticed that many parents park on the street and pick their children up from the office, or the front of the school, in lieu of going through Kiss and Ride. We understand that this may be seen as means to save time and not wait on the Kiss and Ride line. However, it is quite dangerous for children to walk between buses and disregard teacher redirection and warning. We are requesting that all children who need to be picked-up, utilize the Kiss and Ride line to prevent car accidents and to protect the safety of students. Effective immediately, parents and students should refrain from walking in the bus lanes. Please refer to the illustration above for a better understanding of the line of sight from the bus driver's perspective.
