Falls Church Pyramid Parent Information Event. On December 10th at 6:30pm, Falls Church High School is hosting a session entitled, Healthy Choices: Information Session on Vaping/Drug Use in High Schools. This event is open to all parents from Falls Church, Luther Jackson, and our feeder elementary schools.  This session has the following goals: inform parents of the latest drug use information by high school students (including JUULing/ vape devices), communicate the dangers of the various drugs, help parents learn how to identify the latest drug paraphernalia and signs of drug use, and provide tips for communication with children about drug use. The presentation portion of the event will take no more than the first 40 minutes and will be delivered by a panel of school staff, a substance abuse prevention specialist, and a Fairfax County police officer.  The rest of the time will be open for Q&A as well as an opportunity for parents to come up and see actual samples of drug paraphernalia (including the latest vaping devices). This is a free event.  The event will be in the Falls Church High School cafeteria. Spanish & Vietnamese interpreters will be available. Questions: call Cait Saxton at FCHS, 703-207-4049
