Earn Your $100 Wellness Incentive Before Winter Break!

If you participate in an FCPS health plan as the primary cardholder, you may earn a $100 wellness incentive, if you complete your online health assessment (HA) by December 31.

The HA is an online questionnaire related to your general health and well-being. It's easy to complete, takes about 15-20 minutes, and is confidential. Only you and your health plan receive the individual information. It is never shared with FCPS, in compliance with state and federal privacy laws.

Canterbury Woods ES Principal Diane Leipzig got to "spin the wheel" as a contestant on Wheel of Fortune! Diane and her father were huge fans of the show when she was a child. He passed away when she was 15. Diane hadn’t watched the show in 30 years, but when the Wheelmobile was in the area last summer, she decided to audition. The rest is H _ _TO_ _! #OurFCPS Faces: Pam Clingenpeel

Pam Clingenpeel, teacher, Lanier MS

Pam Clingenpeel never dreamed she’d be hiking through a jungle, fighting ice and windstorms or scaling peaks in Tanzania as she entered her 25th year of teaching with FCPS. “It’s interesting,” she said, “While I challenge my students every day, encouraging them to try, to work hard, and to go the extra mile, I think I’d lost the will to push myself.”

Pam is a physical education teacher at Lanier MS and a lifelong athlete. She recently adjusted her lifestyle to focus on less strenuous hobbies, including geocaching in local parks and walking or hiking the hills of Fairfax County. But, once she decided to tackle Mount Kilimanjaro, Pam jumped into preparation and training for the challenging trek. How did she do against the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro? Find out and see her amazing photos!
