Thanks and Update

Thanks!

During this season of thanks, I want to take a second to say thanks to everyone who organized, donated, collected, sorted, distributed, or supported in any way with the Thanksgiving baskets for our sister school. We were able to donate 100 Thanksgiving baskets and 200 pairs of socks. THAT IS AWESOME!!! I know that the families who received the donations are grateful for the baskets and thankful to everyone who helped to make it possible. Once again, thanks for making their holiday a little more bright.

Kiss and Ride Dismissal Update

On this past Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving break, we made a slight change to how our Kiss n Ride students are dismissed at the end of the day and performed a trial run. This change was needed to help relieve the congestion in the hallway at the end of the day between students accessing Kiss n Ride and students entering SACC and also to help with some safety issues that have occurred in that area.

Kiss n Ride students will now enter the gym at the end of the day and exit the building through Door #10 instead of Door #8. Students will then use the upper sidewalk (connected to the outside wall of SACC) to walk down the same steps that they have always walked down to get to their cars for pickup. The sidewalk that they will use is the upper sidewalk and not the one down by the street.

Just wanted to make everyone aware of the change as the change will be permanent starting tomorrow, Monday, December 2nd.
