Administrative Spotlight

North Springfield Families,

Welcome back from what we hope was a wonderful Thanksgiving.  We have a surprisingly short three weeks until the winter holiday break this year.  At school, much like our lives at home, we have a ton of exciting and important work to do and cover in the next three weeks.

Today our students participated in our annual Junior Achievement Day.  Junior Achievement is the nation’s largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their futures, and make smart academic choices.  We were fortunate to partner this year with  Robinson Secondary School’s student leaders to teach the curriculum.  It was a great day for all involved.

Over 60 students from Robinson High School's business department came and instructed our students all day long on economics and free market principles of supply and demand.  The conversations were outstanding, and we believe that many of our students have a bright future as CEO's and entrepreneurs.

The high school students did a tremendous job as they delivered the Junior Achievement curriculum in formats they created as part of their class.
