Brrrr! It's Cold Outside --- But School Doors Still Open at 7:15 a.m.
For the safety and accountability of our students, our school doors open at 7:15 a.m. when we have proper supervision in place. With the cold weather here, thank you for being mindful of the time you drop off your student in the morning.

PTSA
The Lake Braddock PTSA invites you to become a member. Your membership provides you with important information and a voice on issues concerning children’s education, health, and safety! When PTSA and its members get involved, all our children benefit. Online applications can be found on this link: https://lbssptsa.org/membership/join-now/ If you have any questions, please contact membership@lbssptsa.org.

Gift Cards for Teacher Appreciation
We're always trying to show our dedicated faculty how much we appreciate and value them. You can help show your support of these hard-working teachers with a donation of gift cards. Please drop off gift card donations to the Main Office and we'll make sure to deliver them to our teachers at various events throughout the school year. Gift cards from any business and in any amount will be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much for your consideration and generosity.

Support Our Student Musicians and Meet the Principal
Enjoy performances by our own LBSS Symphonic Band and Symphony Orchestra on Monday, December 9th. Help support their participation in the prestigious Music for All Festival. See below flyer for more information.

Prior to the concert, the PTSA will host a "Meet and Greet with the Principal". We understand that not everyone can take time out of the workday to attend the PTSA Principal's Coffee during the day, so we've scheduled for this evening event. Come by and say "hi" to Dr. Smith outside the Little Theatre Lobby before the concert.

Voter Registration Awareness
One crucial role of public education is to prepare the next generation of active citizens and leaders. On December 3rd and 4th, Lake Braddock Secondary School will work with the Fairfax County Office of Elections to host voter registration and awareness programs in the 12th grade US Government classes. This annual event has become a particularly rich opportunity to teach our students about the importance of voting and civic involvement.
