Low temperatures and winds weren't enough to keep these students from participating in Fun Fit Friday and earning their tokens!
We will honor all veteran LCES family members with a picture slide show of our "veteran connections" during lunch on Veterans Day, Monday, 11-11-19.
Veteran family members are invited to join their student during the student’s regular lunchtime on Monday. If you or family members choose to join a student for lunch, please check in through the main office. Then, you may wait for your child’s class in the lobby or meet your student in the cafeteria.
On November 12, 2019, all FCPS schools in the Chantilly High School pyramid will host a special event to honor local veterans and active-duty military personnel. Organized by the Chantilly pyramid and the non-profit group iWitnessed-> iRemember, the evening celebration will feature a series of special musical performances from Chantilly ensembles, a dessert reception supported by Mission B-B-Q, Wegmans, and other local businesses, and a special focus on the service of World War II veterans as we prepare for the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II.
The evening celebration will begin at 6 p.m. in the Chantilly High School auditorium. All veterans and active-duty service personnel who live or work in western Fairfax County are invited to attend and may sign up here: chantilly-thanks-our-veterans.eventbrite.com
Students who were absent on 9/25 or new to Lees Corner after 9/25 will have their pictures taken on Wednesday, November 13th.
Students who pre-ordered a package and would like the picture retaken must return the complete original package to the photographer for a retake. Additional picture payment envelopes are available in the office.
November 13th from 4 to 8 p.m. is Dining Day at Chipotle.
Make dinner a selfless act by joining us for a fundraiser to support Lees Corner Elementary School PTA. Come in to the Chipotle at 14416 Chantilly Crossing Lane in Chantilly on Wednesday,
November 13th between 4:00pm and 8:00pm. Bring in this flyer, show it on your smartphone or tell the cashier you’re supporting the cause to make sure that 33% of the proceeds will be donated to Lees Corner Elementary School PTA.

On November 18 & 19, students will come to the book fair with their class to browse the books and create their “wish lists”.
The Book Fair will be open for purchasing books on the following days/times:
Wednesday, November 20th : 8:15 AM – 3:30 PM
FAMILY NIGHT: Wednesday, November 20th : 4 PM – 7 PM
Thursday, November 21st : 8:15 AM – 3:30 PM
Friday, November 22nd : 8:15 AM – 12:00 PM
