Winter Sports Start November 11th!

Dear Parents and Students.

Winter Sports start on November 11th. Coaches will not collect paperwork during tryouts. They will only be accepting “the PASS” from the Athletic Trainers.  The “Pass” is written notification that the student gives the coach on their first day of tryouts. All paperwork is due by 11/8/19. Please, DO NOT EMAIL FORMS.

To obtain the pass, all students trying out for a winter sport MUST turn in a valid VHSL Physical, Emergency Care Card, and have completed both Student and Parent versions of FCPS Concussion education. An ECC form must be turned in to Ms. Murphy. All forms are found at www.tjsports.org. Please, DO NOT EMAIL FORMS.

To obtain the pass come to AUDLOB on:

November 8th 8-1pm. No passes will be given out after 1pm on Friday. The next time students can get a pass is after school on Monday in the athletic training room.

Fall athletes wanting to try-out for a winter sport may email Ms. Murphy with their name and sport may skip the line for a pass. There is no need to turn in more paperwork. Yes, you must get a new pass.

Students that are unsure if they are going to do a winter sport are encouraged to come on one of the pass days just in case.

If you have questions regarding the VHSL Physical form, please go to www.tjsports.org and read the Physical FAQ sheet.
