This Week at Madison
Week of 11/4/19
No commercial food deliveries can be made to Madison students during the school day. This includes deliveries from local restaurants and delivery services like Uber Eats and Grubhub. The delivery of food during the school day is against FCPS policy and presents a safety concern for our school. If food is delivered, the student cannot pick it up until dismissal. If your child forgets his/her lunch, food may be dropped off by a family member to Madison’s Attendance Office for student pickup.
Exchange Program: Madison is offering an exciting exchange program with South Korea. Visit our website for more information.
Digital Citizenship: In FCPS, Digital Citizenship is a shared responsibility among students, parents/guardians, and school staff. In an effort to plan JMHS information sessions around Digital Citizenship, we invite you to share your thinking in our Digital Citizenship Survey. We would love to follow up by inviting some parents and guardians in for empathy interviews, a process to better understand your responses in a confidential manner. Thank you for taking the time to complete our survey! Questions? Please contact Suzanne van der Eijk (SBTS): svandereijk@fcps.edu.
Governor's School Update: FCPS has changed the Nov. 5 interest form due date to Nov. 6; therefore, all materials, including the online interest form, will be due on November 6. If you have any questions, please direct them to Ms. Coogan or Ms. Lathom.
