Dear Forest Edge Families,
It gives me great pleasure to announce that Ashley Fisher has been selected as the new assistant principal of Forest Edge Elementary School effective November 18th 2019. Mrs. Fisher will begin collaborating with Ms. Zuber and her team over the next two weeks to ensure a smooth transition.
Mrs. Fisher brings strong experience as an administrative intern at London Towne Elementary School and Daniels Run Elementary. Mrs. Fisher has served as an elementary school teacher and leader, supporting collaborative work, utilizing data and mentoring teachers. Mrs. Fisher has worked collaboratively to enhance the Young Scholars program, provide afterschool programming for students and facilitated STEAM integration at Daniels Run. Mrs. Fisher is a huge capitals fan, along with her husband and two children who also attend Fairfax County Schools.
Mrs. Fisher received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Shippensburg University, endorsements from George Mason University in Advanced Academics and her degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of Virginia. Please join me in welcoming Ashley Fisher to her new position as the new assistant principal of Forest Edge Elementary School.
